'Life's a journey, not a destination.' Steven Tyler.

So maintaining interest can be a challenge if you are not fully engaged in what you pursue!

For example, are you doing a job which you don't enjoy? Are you discussing a book at your local club that just isn't your cup of tea? Or maybe you've joined an exercise club, but it's not delivering against your expectations?

If any of these apply, it is possible that over time, apathy will take over and you'll just keep on going, without any passion or commitment. So, what can you do to change this and re-invigorate yourself? You could try these steps:

  1. Determine why you are doing the activity – does it align with your guiding light? (see http://www.tumblr.com/blog/how-do-i-decide for information).
  2. Know clearly where you want to go – choose your goal.
  3. Consistently take steps towards your goal. Afterall. “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” - Lao-tzu
  4. Make sure you acknowledge your steps and celebrate them.
  5. Record your progress so that you can see it!

The above process will help you commence your journey forward. The steps do continue, and I would be delighted to share further detail if required. Please use the 'Inquiry Form' at http://www.facebook.com/PozitiveBlog if needed. I look forward to discussing with you.
